Seven Major Holy Spirit Invasions


Man is a spirit being, placed in a body that's formed of dust (earthly tent).
Matthew 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
The Holy Spirit invasion means the invasion of the Kingdom of God. Though the Kingdom of God cannot be pointed out in a map, the Kingdom of God is spread across the globe, wherever the Holy Spirit has His reign.

The Holy Spirit invasion marks the beginning of the end of the enemy’s rule. It is the end of Satan's strongholds in a territory.
The Holy Spirit has the greatest penetration power.

Seven Major Holy Spirit Invasions
1. Creation of the Universe (Genesis 1) - Universal invasion of the Holy Spirit
2. Incarnation of Jesus (Luke 1) - Individual invasion of the Holy Spirit
3. Baptism of Jesus (Matthew 3) - Anointing for ministry
4. New birth of a believer (John 3) - Invasion into a sinner’s heart
5. Pentecost outpouring (Acts 2) - The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh
6. Gentile Inclusion (Acts 10) - The breaking down of all racial, cultural and religious barriers
7. End time invitation (Revelation 22) - The Spirit and the Bride invite all who are thirsty

Creation of the Universe
The creation of the universe is a mystery even today to scientists and scholars. Just as the commodities we use in our everyday life (mobiles, cars, watches, clothes, etc) have a manufacturer, the universe we live in certainly has a Creator - the Holy Trinity or the Triune God. Although it is God the Father who commanded the creation and God the Son who executed it, the actual creation was done by the Holy Spirit.

Incarnation of Jesus
God who is Spirit came in human form and the Word became flesh through Mary, a virgin girl. Mary conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit after she was engaged to Joseph and therefore, she probably would have been somewhere between 13-19 years old (in those days, girls were married off at a very young age) .

Baptism of Jesus
Jesus was equipped for ministry when the Holy Spirit descended on Him like a dove as he came out of the Jordan river after he was baptised. We too should be equipped for ministry.

New Birth of A Believer
When the Holy Spirit invades into a sinner’s heart, his/ her spirit which was dead until then becomes alive and he/ she is a new creation from then on. This is beyond human comprehension and the greatest miracle.

Pentecost Outpouring
In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit outpouring was sporadic and only upon few people; but on the day of Pentecost all who were gathered were filled with the Holy Spirit and this paved a new route in human history - people of any gender, race, religion can be filled with the Holy Spirit when they believe and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Gentile Inclusion
Until Acts 10, only the Israelites were regarded as God’s people; but then onwards God accepts people from every tribe, every tongue, every people and every land. We are now an heir of God and co-heir with Christ - adoption to sonship.

The End Time Invitation
The Spirit and the Bride invite all who are thirsty to drink from the Living Water.
