The Invasion Of The Spirit Into Your Family
The Holy Spirit invasion message series continues and today, we are looking at the 5th invasion that occurred at the Pentecost outpouring.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost upon the masses; upon all flesh was unimaginable. The working of the Holy Spirit draws similarities in the verses Gen 1.2 and Acts 2. Just as the Holy Spirit moved over the waters (Gen 1.2) to work continuously on the dark formless earth transforming it until it was filled with light, made habitable and fruitful. So too, the Holy Spirit worked on mankind (Acts 2) to fill them with life, light and fruitfulness.It had its beginnings at the Pentecost aka Harvest Festival. The Holy Spirit came upon the masses and effected a big harvest of souls for God.
If you would recall the Yara and Malkush; Yara meaning former rains and Malkush meaning latter rains. Israel received both the rains. The Pentecost revival was a time of latter or Malkush rains. In other words, the harvest at end times or last days began at Pentecost itself and not 2000 years later. The prophet Joel’s prophesy had been fulfilled – “In the last days, I will pour out my spirit on all people.” A diaspora of Jews had congregated there; among them were also those who hadnewly converted to Judaism spanning across 17 countries and different races. It is all mentioned in Acts 2. Jews came even from the region of Parthia of which India was a province. The mighty invasion of the Holy Spirit changed history and people alike.
An example would be Peter. He denied Jesus, was absconding when Jesus needed him most and even denied knowing Him. Except for the apostle John, all the other apostles went into hiding at the time of crucifixion as they were very scared for their lives. At such a time as that, Jesus came to them and empowered them saying that they wait upon the promises of the Father. They waited and on the 10th day, they were enveloped by 4 elements namely –
1. Sound
2. Wind
3. Fire
4. Tongues
A big sound accompanied by a powerful wind, tongues of fire appeared and they started speaking in new languages. Nowadays people receive training in different languages to gain jobs in different countries. But without training or coaching, the apostles started speaking in many languages. Peter was a very scared person. But with the coming of the Holy Spirit, he was filled with immense courage. Many people,

numbering in 1000s assembled there, among them even those who had Jesus crucified. Still the apostles addressed the people assembled of which 3000 got baptized.
If such a transformation should occur, it could only have happened due to the coming of a strong personality - who came into them and empowered them to stand and preach.
Smith Wigglesworth was a plumber who was illiterate and would stammer with fear. But when he was filled with the Holy Spirit, he was emboldened and became a man of great faith. The Holy Spirit worked through him to raise the dead and uncountable miracles happened. As was mentioned previously, a new wine season has begun.
The New Wine Season!
In John 2, Jesus and in Acts 2, the Holy Spirit made new wine at the beginning of their ministry. Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit started a new wine season.
We still live in the new wine season for it hasn’t ended. But Jesus said, ‘if new wine is poured into old wineskin, it will burst and the wine will be wasted. So new wine is never to be poured into old wineskin. New wine only in new wine skin. Similarly, if only we are renewed can the new or fresh anointing fill us. Otherwise the wineskin will break.
In Acts 2.13, when the winds of revival hit the apostles, the people congregated there commented that they were drunk on new wine and were causing a ruckus. To which Peter rose and spoke. He was quite unprepared. The people were convicted, baptized and joined the church. From a situation of ridicule, came a mega revival, mass baptism and a huge change.
People may make fun of you, but out of it a change can happen to bring about a major harvest. God is one who pulls out a positive from among the many negatives. If you are living in a negative situation surrounded by a negative person, family, society or office environment; rest assured that the Holy Spirit will bring out a positive result or person out of it.
Years back in a village in Germany, an anointed missionary from the US visited and called for the sick. Said Jesus was healing. The villagers took him to a house where a sick man was groaning in pain. He was afflicted with arthritis, riddled with pain and crying out. The missionary laid his hand on the patient and uttered – be healed in the name of Jesus (as mentioned towards the end of Mark 16, that the sick would receive healing, when hands are laid on them)
The sick jumped to his feet as soon as the missionary laid his hands on him. He was healed instantaneously. Pain had vanished! Missionary told him that he hadn’t finished praying over him and asked him to kneel. He laid his hand on him and the Holy Spirit filled him and at that moment, he started to speak in tongues. He was a changed man! His family was saved, his son became a pastor – the world renowned evangelist – Reinhard Bonke. Whenever Reinhard Bonke testified, he would say that the Holy Spirit invaded into Bonke family.

At such invasions of the Holy Spirit, the entire family line is delivered. For more than 40 years, the Holy Spirit has invaded my being, says Ps. Damien. He adds, today my family, my generations are Holy Spirit led. I prophesy over you that if the Holy Spirit invades your family, your family line and generations will be saved; belong to Jesus, secured for all eternity, caught by the Holy Spirit and made holy by Him. Hallelujah!
Just as the Holy Spirit invaded the Bonke family, He will invade your family and your future generations. The invasion of the Holy Spirit causes history to change at the end times and we are in the end times of the end times; living in the last days of the last days.
The Holy Spirit is going to determine the trajectory of your life and ministry. Jesus has prepared your path and ministry. The Holy Spirit determines your path.

This happens at the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Today, God is ready to outpour His Holy Spirit on all flesh provided we are willing. God is ready. The apostles waited patiently. We don’t have to wait for it to come from heaven. Rather, I would like to give you a key.
When we are saved, we receive the Holy Spirit. But when we surrender, the Holy Spirit receives us. Today, how many of us are willing to wait upon the Lord in total surrender? An invasion of the Holy Spirit will occur.
1. A sound – it changes the atmosphere. Tormenting sound would upset the atmosphere but a good sound would change the atmosphere for good. When a military invasion happens, a war cry or victory cry is given. The Holy Spirit makes a noisy entry (Heaven’s war cry)
2. Violent wind – not natural. Heaven’s wind changes the atmosphere. A grand entry that doesn’t cause damage but harvest happens. A saving wind and likewise, an empowering wind.
In a previous message, I had said that we need to position ourselves. Just as grasshoppers perch on a tree and propel themselves into the wind to be carried off to other destinations. Even at the time of Pentecost, the winds of Pentecost took the apostles to the different corners of the earth. They would not go on their own. The Holy Spirit took them to the ends of the earth.
3. Fire – In Acts 2.3 – split tongues of fire – fire purifies and is an energizer. It can give light and guidance. In Moses’ time, there was the burning bush. Similarly, the apostles were burning with the Holy Spirit fire. In the next verse, Acts 2.4, all of them began to speak in tongues as the Spirit led them. They began to speak in different languages.
When a military invasion occurs and a county is made captive, they would change their dress and lifer style, colonize them and teach them their culture and their ways. Similarly, heaven invades earth and gives the people heavenly languages. Christ blessed them. It happens in many places; when the Holy Spirit invades, the people change and History changes!
Even today, many accept the Holy Spirit, surrender their lives and receive baptism.
Just as the Holy Spirit invaded the Bonke family, He will invade your family and your future generations. The invasion of the Holy Spirit causes history to change at the end times and we are in the end times of the end times; living in the last days of the last days.
