Forget Not God’s Benefits

Good things are going to happen in your life! You are going to witness great miracles in your family!
But for this to happen, you need to open the door for the blessings. Many people have closed the doors of their heart with doubts, judgement, disbelief etc. about God.
Many others even though blessings are poured out, they don’t get to witness it.
Psalm 103:1-5 ‘1 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.’
In Vs 5. It states that those who praise the Lord, who acknowledge his blessings, your youth will be renewed like the eagle.
When you receive a present from someone you immediately thank the person. How many of us have thanked our Lord for bringing us thus far? Have we thanked him for the breath in our nostrils or our daily bread?
Many of us pray day and night for a number of things. But do we bow down in thanks once our needs are met?
Take this decision today!
At times we might not get what we asked for. Sometimes the direct opposite happens to us. But remember, God has a better plan for you. God will do the best for you in his appointed time. Do not doubt his works.
A delay in your prayer request does not mean he has abandoned you. He is just waiting for the right time.
Summary
Did you remember to thank God today? Each day is a new day God has given you. Everyday his mercy is new. Have you really thanked him for all that he has done for you or are you upset with God for the prayer requests that are not yet answered? Counting your blessings, pouring out love and praising God for the very life you have in him should be your lifestyle. Praise should always be on your lips.
