Satan Has No Legal Right Over You
We are focusing on the authority that God has given us all. We all are ordinary human beings but once we become born again we become a new creation. It does not refer to our soul, mind or body but our spirit is a new creation in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come The old has gone, the new is here
The mind of a born again individual still needs transformation . The renewal of mind is a lifelong process. Our mind is changing everyday until we leave this world when it becomes like that of Jesus.
Prayer and Holy Spirit Anointing can help with the renewal of the mind. The very moment you become born again the authority attained by Christ comes to us.
It is very surprising to know most believers in this world never use this authority fully. Many succumb to harsh life situations happening to them as God's will and live with diseases and sickness. God says he has provided us with authority over snakes, scorpions and everything evil.
Ref. Mark 16:16-17
Every believer, children of God who are saved or born again have this authority regardless of their congregation, denomination, tribe and race. Most of the believers are a community of unbelievers.
Colossians 1:13
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves
God gave full dominion to Adam and Eve over all creation but the devil tactfully took it over. Then Jesus Christ came and rescued us and gave the authority back to his children.
1 John 5 :20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life
In this world everything is under the control of the devil be it economy, politics, film field, sports, tradition and culture etc. Jesus Christ rescued us from this. Jesus uprooted us from being under the control of the devil and planted us in the kingdom that belongs to the Son of God. Our ruler changed but the unsaved people are still captive of the devil. The moment we become saved our master changes. Before we declare Jesus as the Son of God we are still in the lordship of the devil.
Roman 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved
After Jesus came into this world all darkness fled and we belong to the Spiritual Kingdom of Jesus that is the Heavenly Kingdom. If anything may happen to us to harm us we have a person to stand for us. Many still fear if they pray for the removal of demons or healing of diseases that they will get the same.
Luke 8:32-33
A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. 33 When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
Satanic attacks require a body so most of the time demons request for a body. There are many demons but certain demons are specific to a location called territorial spirits.
If you live a pig-like life like being in a sinful life demons will attack. Our spirit belongs to the Lord. It has fire that is from the Holy Spirit.
Acts 19: 11-16
God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, 12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.
13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
If we have no relation with God, not saved and have no Holy Spirit infilling they are preferred by satanic or demon possessing.
There is high security to God's children who lead a righteous life and in obeying God's commandments. We should be courageous and brave to stand up to pray for others for healing and to deliver from demons.
We must lead a ministry with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Always aim to bring all people from darkness to light and show the love of God and stay with Jesus.
