Do Not Sell Out Your Inheritance
Our Heavenly Father's love for us is limitless, many believers are unaware of what God has In store for us.
We could say that most court cases in the world are for assets like land, properties etc.
Children have a right to their parents' assets in the same way we have a right to our Heavenly Father's riches too.
1 Peter 1:3
Praise to God for a Living Hope
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Because of what Jesus did for us we have life! And an inheritance that will never perish!
Everything on earth is temporary but what comes for God is for eternity.
Matthew 25:34-40
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world
God has prepared a heavenly kingdom for his children to enjoy!
Acts 20:32
32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
To get to the kingdom that God has created we need to be sanctified!
Ephesians 1:13-14
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth,the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal,the promised Holy Spirit,14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
It says, we too were also included in Christ! Like there was Eve within Adam.
We have come to life through Christ, he has died for his bride that is us.
As soon as we believe we are marked with a seal!
How many of you have the Holy Spirit? The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the guarantee that God has kept his kingdom for you!
Ephesians 1:18
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
Paul prays that we should understand or recognise the riches that God has kept in store for us, it is so big that our human brain cannot comprehend! His gift for us is so immense!
Colossians 1:12
12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
The inheritance mentioned here is a reward from God. We as believers must understand what great blessing God has reserved for us. The Bible says that no one should be sexually immoral or godless like Easu.
Easu was the first born and he had the first right to the blessings but he sold it for a meal. God is saying in the same manner do not sell or despise your blessings that God has kept in store for you!
