The Origin Of Blessings: Part 2
We’ve been discussing the origin of Blessings.
The book of Genesis is the book of the beginning.
It is in Genesis that God gives out a blessing for the first time.
For the first six days God created the universe but on the seventh he took rest.
So the first blessing we see is on the animal kingdom, second, on mankind. God gave dominion.
God has given us the strength to sustain over the difficulties of life.
The next blessing was,
Genesis 2-3- Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creation that he had done.
This blessing was mainly on the day of rest.
The day was supposed to be kept holy.
Genesis 9:1-2
God’s Covenant With Noah
9 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. 2 The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.

The blessing that God gave Adam and Eve: Multiplication & Dominion
He gave it to Noah.

Have all received this blessing!
Genesis 12:1-3
The Call of Abram
12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.
God calls us to bless us.
God calls us all individually!
The primary purpose why God calls us is to bless us, to deliver us from curses.
A reason why many people are not being blessed is because of their association with wrong things and wrong people. Only when you delink yourself from wrong things is when you’ll recieve blessings.
Every relationship of Earth matters. Some wrong relationships spoil other relationships.
When God calls you he gives a new destination!
The greatest blessing we can have is from the author of the universe.
God's blessing comprises physical, earthly and heavenly blessings.
God has called us to make a holy nation for us and finally once God blesses us, we will be a blessing to others.
