Cast All Your Anxiety On God

Many times, believers live a miserable life than the unbelievers even though the promises of God rest on each child of God. By His grace, these days we’re contemplating some practical tips given in the Word to live a blessed life here on Earth.
We saw how Jesus multiplied bread and provided surplus food for the multitudes (approx. 25000) in John 6:5-13. Jesus revealed the true nature of God who can and is more than willing to bless us abundantly.
I still remember the growth principle that Bishop Jonathan Ansar taught years ago that was based on Jesus’ bread multiplication. Back then, we only had the option of audio cassettes and I recorded the message and played it repeatedly in the car so that it would become integrated in my life.
What should we do for God to bless us according to the Biblical standards?
God’s mighty hand is over you as we humble ourselves that He may exalt you in due time. Your exaltation comes neither from North, South, East or West nor from your surroundings, nor your parents, nor your boss, nor your in- laws/ out-laws, nor your society; but from above, from God Most High. At the same time, you are held by God’s other hand.
God asks us to humble ourselves under His mighty hand. Just as a pregnant woman has a due date, there’s a due date for your elevation/ your promotion/ your advancement.
Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
We must learn to be humble from Jesus Himself.
In verse 7, we are then asked to cast all our anxieties on Him since He cares for us.
1 Peter 5:8,9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
The devil traps human lives and minds with his tricks; anxiety being one manner in which he steals our joy.
Faith and fear can never coexist. Faith leaves when fear comes in, and fear leaves when faith comes in. It's your choice whether to entertain the spirit of fear/unbelief or the spirit of faith.
1 Peter 5:10,11 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen
Meditate often on what Jesus tells each one of us in Matthew 6:25-33. We are highly valued by God, for He saved our souls by His blood and richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Rejoice in the Lord for your life here on Earth and through all eternity is insured in Christ Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer! Stand firm in faith for your faith can magnetize divine blessings to your life. Hallelujah!

What should we do for God to bless us according to the Biblical standards?
- Follow Him wholeheartedly
- Partner with Him for He desires to accomplish things on Earth through human partnership. Jesus could have come to Earth as a fully grown man and presented Himself to the Jews as Messiah; but He took human form in the womb of Mary and through the Holy Spirit and God appeared to Joseph in a dream and he too cooperated with God to fulfill the major project of the birth of the Savior. Even during thirty three and a half years of Jesus’ life on Earth, He could fulfill the redemption of mankind only through the cooperation of many people. God wants to do everything in partnership with human beings. Multiplication is the blessing that gets tagged to you when you partner with God.
- Do your duties. It's a humiliation to our Lord if we, being His children, lead an indolent life. God is always on the move and Jesus, our greatest role model, worked as a carpenter before He began his ministry. Apostle Paul worked day and night for his living.
- Manage what you have faithfully for he/she who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.
- Cast all your anxiety on Him: We live in a stressful world; but since we have a God who cares for us, God’s Word encourages us to cast all our cares and worries on Him (1 Peter 5:7)
