God’s Plans For Your Future
All of us are curious about our future and God is also willing to provide the necessary information about the same. The book of Revelation prophecies/ reveals about what is yet to happen in the world and God gives a broad idea of the future globally and individually. It is good to know what God has planned for us that we might walk the right path.
When Jesus came to Earth, His entire life right from birth to His crucifixion and beyond was already recorded by the prophets and He was able to journey through the right path that was already laid for Him.
In Revelation 4.1, John, the Apostle saw a door standing open in heaven. From Revelation 3.8, we understand that nobody can shut the door which God has opened and neither can anybody open the door which God has shut. We have a future and the Faithful One reveals to us and also is with us to help us reach our destiny.
In John 1.43-51, Jesus gave a promise to Nathanael that he would see greater things
Haggai 2:9 - The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house
The ministry of the New Testament is much more glorious than the ministry of the Old Testament. (2 Corinthians 3: 7-18)
Proverbs 31:25 She (the bride of Christ) is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
Job 8:7 Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.

Our life is not like a car that has lost control. Sometimes we take the driver seat and turn the steering towards mishaps/danger; but if we permit God, He will take control of everything in our life and help us reach safely at our final destination.
Our times (childhood, adolescence, teenage, adulthood etc) are in God’s hands and therefore we can sleep peacefully without being anxious about anything; for God is our source! At the same time, many are least bothered about the future, without any plan/ vision/dream and live life like a blind man. God wants to give us guidance. When the Holy Spirit shall come, He will guide you into all truths.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Our future is secure in God’s hands. God’s plans give us hope and a future and because He lives, we can face tomorrows. Many are caught up with so many worries in life - about their job, about their spouse, about their children etc. God has a building plan for each one of our lives.
Isaiah 55:8,9 - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
God has a high perspective about everything in your life and about the whole world. No matter how high we think, God’s ways and thoughts are much higher than our highest thoughts/ ways.
1 Corinthians 2:9,10 - However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him - these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
It is for those who love God that He has prepared unimaginable spiritual things.
Normally, parents plan, purchase and keep everything ready even before they have the first glimpse of their child and they continue to do so for each phase of their child’s life - school, college, marriage, etc. Being God’s children, Abba Father has already prepared many things for us and for each phase of our life. God is faithful to fulfill our every need!
