God Remembers You
People forget a lot of things. Sometimes forgetting is a blessing especially when we forget the hurts inflicted by incidents/others. But to forget the good things that we receive is not a blessing. It is a thanklessness.
What is God’s nature and How are His ways?
Hebrews 6.10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
It is unjust and thankless when we forget the good that people do for us. But God is not like that. He remembers the good you do to His children who do His work. In Matthew 10.40-42, God rewards those who give even a cup of cold water to a Prophet or anyone who is His disciple with the prophet’s reward etc. A Prophet or saints of God might not remember the ones who give him water, but God will remember. Saints are those who have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus.
So whatever we do for God’s people and God’s work because we love God will be remembered by God. The Bible even mentions a Book of Remembrance kept in Heaven. God carefully listens to the conversations of His people and records it. It is not because He forgets it but there is a system in Heaven to record everything done for God even the small things.
God even records our prayers. Rev Dinakharen had a vision where God told him the prayers that had been prayed to him and even the time and date of the prayer. God remembers even the small things, He knows all people and every need that they have. This shows God’s faithfulness, integrity, thankfulness etc.
Psalm 8. 3,4 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of, human beings that you care for?
It is amazing that God is mindful of people who are so small compared to many of His other creations. God is a thankful God who is full of mercy and grace towards His people. God will bless the generations of those who serve Him .
Many times we feel God is silent and does not respond to our prayers or our works. God and His Government is active all the time but His response does not come every moment. There is a time for everything. But He never forgets us especially those who faithfully trust Him.
In Daniel 3, when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were put in fire for being faithful to God, for a certain period of time it felt that they would be burned. But then we see a fourth man among them and they come out unharmed without even the smell of fire on them. Jesus comes to our rescue when we go through painful experiences and delivers us supernaturally.
