God’s Library
Before books were invented, people drew initially (pictural language) and then wrote on stones, then parchments, then papyrus, and then came paper. Now we even see e-books.
If we take all these types of ‘books’ together, we won’t be able to count them as they are too numerous. But among all these books, it is the Bible that is read by the most number of people and translated to the most number of languages. No other book can beat this as well because the Bible had been circulating and has recorded things from the beginning!
Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”
We know that for those who have accepted Christ, we have no condemnation (Romans 8.1).
In this passage, we see that there are books in heaven as well!
One person who was taken to heaven while he was on earth mentioned that he saw angels who worked on archiving and arranging books in heaven! Our God has a library and He is a very good librarian.
What are the books in heaven?

The original version of the Bible is in heaven. We all have many versions depending on language, and translations. All of these have human mistakes like grammatical ones and others. The original Bible however, has no errors and it is with God. We only have a copy of the original Bible.
The Bible is not a religious book. It is the Word of God revealed to us. It is the message of the Bible that matters, not the language errors or other issues in it. What is it that God is speaking to us?
Philippians 4:17 “Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.”
God has accounts books for each one of us! There are Accountant angels that keep our records and accounts. The books of accounts are maintained in our names so that God may reward us / meet our needs accordingly as we read in Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Malachi 3:16 “Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.”
God has a “Book of remembrance”! He keeps a track of all things and remembers every detail.
In the Bible, we see that 1 Chronicles and 2 Chronicles are two books that keep a record in the same manner. These two books record all the events that happened when the Kings ruled Israel and Judah. When Mordecai was being pursued, the King's records about Mordecai’s goodness in the past were brought up and remembered. Like this, God also keeps records. God minutes even small things that we do for Him. He even records a small glass of water we give to men of God.
Hebrews 6:10 “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”
Luke 12. 6,7 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Another Book mentioned in the Bible is the “Book Of Life”.

The Book of Life has only names. But those whose names are not in this book, will be thrown into the fire.
How does our name get in this book? When we accept Jesus as our saviour and confess, we become his children, added to the Book of Life!
Exodus 33:23 “The LORD replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book.”
The Lamb’s Book of life will be opened at judgement time.
Luke 10:20 “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
