Sowing And Reaping: Part 1

In nature there are natural principles and rules. And the most important one is that of gravitational force which attracts everything to the centre of the earth. There are many other natural principles existing on earth which keeps each thing in its path.
God also has certain principles which he speaks to us from Genesis to Revelation. One such important principle in our lives is the principle of  sowing & reaping.
 
How can this principle bring about a life change in our lives ?
 
Genesis 1:11-12 
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
 
This is an amazing blessing. While God was creating , He was doing it through a principle of blessing. He commanded the land to produce plants and trees that bore fruits with  seeds in it according to their specific kinds. The term according to their various kinds is repeated many times in the Book of Genesis. Scientists have given unique generic and specific names to each species. This is a principle of God. He has designed each one in a way that one kind cannot produce another. So we can emphatically refute Darwin’s theory that man evolved from a monkey. According to God’s principle, monkeys cannot produce man.
 
Genesis 8:22
“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”

The earth will not be destroyed by water because God promised Noah. But according to Matthew 24.35 and 2 Peter 3.10, it will one day be destroyed by fire. But as long as the earth endures, God’s principle of seedtime and harvest will never cease. This principle is applicable to all of us even today. So God created “Once” and then He established the seed principle for sustaining the creation forever.  
He finished “creating” in six days and to sustain it He brought the creation to be subject to this seed principle. To continue the creation, generations are required: reproduction and multiplication. This was a secret included in God’s creation.  
 
Ecclesiastes 3:2 
    a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
 
Acts 17:26
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
 
This passage insinuates that God created everyone from one man (one blood). Jacob said in Genesis 32, that he started alone with a walking stick  but came back with two full groups and herds. Joseph went alone to Egypt but when they left 430 years later, they were 30 lakh people.
 
Jesus chose 12 disciples, but on Pentecost day 120 people gathered which later on multiplied many fold.
