The Applied Word Of God: Part 10
Isaiah 55:10-11
10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
What is the purpose of this verse?
It shows the power that God has, it will keep on operating, keep on working.
We see how powerful God is when Peter preaches to the thousands.
Ephesians 5:26
26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
Here we see the washing effect,
If there is no water in our lives there’s nothing left right?!
Suppose someone goes to buy a house and everything there is perfect but there is no fresh water, what is the purpose of buying that place?
Nothing right, in the same way the spirit of God is so important in our lives. Once there is no God in us it is simply a waste.
The word of God has the same importance as water!
The fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream.
The word reveals the depths of God, it is as sweet as honey.
The Word of God is Imperishable, Living and Enduring
Wherever God is involved things happen to be perfect!
God wants us to be his.
There are several verses in the Bible where it asks us to be one with God.
We as human beings need to be one with God and dwell in the Word of God.
