Jesus Fixed Your Sin Problem

Psalm 49:7 ‘No one can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for them— the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough— so that they should live on forever and not see decay.’

No one can redeem the life of another, this is a fact! Why is that? Because all have sinned.
Romans 3:23 ‘for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,’

Many of us think that people who live a good life and help those in need will go to heaven. But that is not the case. The Bible has clearly stated that everyone has sinned.
It is not the so-called ‘good people’ that go to heaven but those who have received salvation.
Psalms 51:5 ‘Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.’

The first man and woman sinned and therefore every child and generation born out of them was born with the sin nature or fallen nature. Every child is born with a sin nature. It is not a sinful action that makes you a sinner but your sin nature that makes you a sinner. 

A person once said, education is a sign of the fall. 

Here is the good news, Titus 2:11 ‘For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.’

This is a fact. And how was this salvation received for all people?
We know that one person cannot redeem the life of another person. A priest or pastor cannot redeem another. 

Hebrews 2:17 ‘For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.’

How did Jesus redeem us?

1. By the unique atonement that Jesus made. 
2. By being fully human in every way.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!’

By giving himself up on the cross for us once and for all, he bought us the salvation and forgiveness of all sins. 
And we were made a new creation in him. This is a fact!
