This Can Be Your Story - Part 4
Today we will focus on the life of Joseph and see how we relate to it.
Not everything that happens in Joseph’s life will happen to us but we can relate to it to an extent.
Joseph is introduced in the bible as a 17 year old boy. Many get saved when they are in their teenage years.
Joseph was his father’s favorite, he was opposed to the ways of the world. Joseph’s father made a jacket that was only for Joseph and not for the other brothers which made them jealous.
That’s when Joseph sees 2 dreams.
He dreamt that the sun and moon bowed in front of him and second that all his brothers were bowing to him.
God has a great plan for our lives.
He has kept everything ready, all he needs now is your cooperation.
The word of God must flow through you, only then will we be able to reach our final destination.
Some people don’t even realize God's plan for their lives and mess up everything.
Nowadays when we decide something we always check for the extent of opportunity and not whether God has called us to do it. In order to know the purpose of God we need to pray. It may happen slowly. The Holy Spirit will develop his plans for us.
We need to pray and ask God what he sees us doing.
We need to pray for clarity over what the purpose of our lives is.
The sooner the better.
When Joseph told his dream to his brothers, they started making fun of him. When you carry a vision, persecution begins.
When God gives a dream twice it means it’s a confirmation, no matter if people tell you that it’s not serious you will know it in your spirit.
When a dream is from God it will repeat itself and be imprinted in your head.
There is no point in living if one does not have any dreams.
When God shows you something or tells you something, store it in your heart and develop your spiritual life.
