This Can Be Your Story - Part 22
We are continuing the story of Joseph.
We all go through changes and difficulties in life and in these changes we learn and experience many things.
Some of us have gone through bad experiences but remember that God has great plans for our lives.
When Joseph had asked the brothers to get Benjamin, their father did not agree and was against sending him. Their father did not want to send him with the brothers as he was still mourning the loss of Joseph. They told their father that the governor was interrogating them and they had to say everything.
Through this story we can relate that when we need God He always shows compassion towards us. Though we may take many precautions, we might still fall into trouble but when God’s hand is in our plans then He will do it his way.
When Joseph saw Benjamin, he recognised him instantly and ordered his servants to serve supper for his brothers at his home. When the brothers heard that they were going to Joseph’s place they were terrified. The brothers were given months of food provisions.
What we learn from here is that we cannot do anything without the hand of God.
We learn all these basic things in our childhood but fail to remember it and apply it in our daily lives. Depending on God is something we must keep in mind and He will provide for us no matter what our situation is.
When Joseph came, the brothers bowed down before him and that was the fulfillment of the dream!
Joseph’s dream came true, it means that the dream that God showed you will also come true.
God does not always show the literal sense but many things are shown in a very symbolic way.
We as believers must not forget to trust in the Word of God and always depend upon him.
