Good News For All
We have a blessed hope in Christ! That he will come back to take us to the new Jerusalem he is building for us where the lamb himself will be the lamp and light! Our trust and hope should be in God, not man.
Psalm 118:8
“It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in humans.”
People fall into depression because they look to men for help and support. Instead we need to put our trust on Jesus who will never leave us nor forsake us.
Jeremiah 32:27
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
There are many mythologies that believe in fertility gods, rain gods, marriage gods, etc. whom you can turn to for those needs. These are created by men and are not true.
There is only one God, who is the God of billions of people. And He says there is nothing too hard for Him! He can provide for and protect all people. We only need to give him all our burdens.
Psalm 55:22
“Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”
In our limited thinking, we sometimes feel that he is not able to hear the needs of all the people who live on earth. But God is not limited to a place or time. He is the God and Saviour of all generations. We fail to understand the glory and the ability of our God. He has the perfect personality.
Although each country has its own culture, there is only one God and only one way to be saved.
Acts 4:12
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Jesus’ name is the only name we need to turn to for all things. And He is the only way for all people, no matter who they are in this world!
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
Eve instead of focusing on God strayed away and the whole world fell.
1 Corinthians 2:2
“For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”
Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me."
If we live a Christ centred life, we don’t have to fear anything. There is power in the gospel to save anyone who believes and it is the only thing you need.
