Smile At Your Future
Your future is in the hands of the Lord. You don’t have to worry about your future or your children’s future. The Lord has planned it out for you.
Put your hope in the Lord and not in your husband, wife or children. It is Jehovah who sustains you.
Your future does not end with this Earth. When you finish your life on Earth, your real future begins.
When many followers of Jesus Christ were stoned to death or thrown into the fire, none of them cried thinking their future was over. Instead they rejoiced because they knew their future was just about to begin.
Children of God should learn to smile looking at their future.
We need to live for the One who died for us. The One who loved us so much that He gave His life for us. It is for Him that we need to live. Yes we also need to live for our children, husband or wife but that is secondary.
He is the ruler. He is the Lord of our lives.
1 Corinthians 3:16
‘Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?’
1 Corinthians 6:19
‘Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;’
We have been purchased not with silver or gold but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
It is because of this that we should not live for the things or people of this world.
Your future does not end in this world. Your future does not end in a box.
To be absent in the body means to be present with the Lord. So do not be short-sighted. Smile at your future. Because it is in the hands of your maker.
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Many of us live a substandard life because we don’t know the plans that God has for us. God has kept the best plan for us - to prosper us and give us a beautiful future.
He is the architect of this world. His plans are the best and better than we can even comprehend.
The worries and problems in your life right now are okay. Remember that there is a beautiful future that is kept for you. Whatever your situation is, you need to put your trust and hope in the Saviour and then you will have joy in your troubles.

As children of God we need to understand that God has planned your future. We don’t have to depend on others but only on the one who created us. Our future does not end in this world. All we need to do is trust and hope in the Lord.
