Jesus Will Give A Shape To Your Life

When natural calamities happen, many things get destroyed. If buildings are destroyed, they can be rebuilt. If roads are destroyed, they can be rebuilt. Engineers and builders can use materials and restore it. 
But if your life is destroyed, who can rebuild it? The only One who can restore life, is the One who gave it. Jesus is always ready and waiting for us to run to Him and give Him our heart.
 
Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Many of us have lost motivation and hope in life. But if you can give your life to Christ, He can rebuild you and restore you beautifully. 

When God called Jeremiah, he was just a young boy. When Samuel the great prophet came to the ministry, he was a baby surrendered by his mother. Age doesn’t matter to God. You just have to give Him your life. 

The Potter moulds the clay by spinning it on the wheel. Even when the clay breaks, the Potter can mould it again and make it a better vessel. The Potter is able to do what it wants to the clay because it yields to His hands.  In the same way, God can mould us but only if we surrender and not question Him.

Romans 9:20-21 
But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

This Potter can mould you beautifully. 

2 Timothy 2:20-21
In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

For God to shape us, we have to sit on the wheel as obedient and surrendered as the clay does. Many surrender to God in words but their heart is elsewhere.

1 Corinthians 6:17 says, But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

We must not be double minded as it makes us unstable. We must stay united and in one mind with Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Our mind must grow to Christ’s mind. For this we must read the Word, be filled in the Spirit and be transformed in our mind.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

God’s finger presses us and shapes us and in the process removes things that need to make us into what He wants us to become. God might need to break some things in order to build it into something greater.
