Nothing Can Destroy You
God is revealing everything to each of us. Isaiah has 66 chapters in it. The book of Isaiah has so much similarity with the entire Bible. It is more like the miniature version of the Bible . It is also known as the Gospel of the Old Testament. It is the book that gives a picture of the coming Messiah. In the 66 chapters the first 39 chapters mainly portray how God confronts people. Chapter 40 onwards it portrays how God comforts people.
Chapter 52 gives an idea on the suffering that the servant of God will have and how his body will be disfigured at the cross. Moving to chapter 53 and 54, it explains more about the abundance of what will come.
Isaiah 54:8
In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer.
This explains on its own that our Lord will never rebuke or be angry.
The Chapters 52 and 53 are not mentioning much of sins and consequences but says God's servant will be the solution to all sins. Many of us have sinned and always feel that doing something good to others especially to the needy will help save us from our punishment from the sins. This is a wrong thought, Jesus has already handled everything as a substitute for our wrongs.
Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
This verse can be explained to convey that no matter how big a mountain is ahead of us God's unfailing love will never change. It is called eternal love and whatever be this love is always unchanging. The covenant of peace will be following us and God has already done everything for us, it is up to us to accept.
Isaiah 54:13
All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace
God is telling His children that He will be their instructor and life coach. Submit our children to Jesus.
Isaiah 54:14
In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed and it will not come near you.
Isaiah 54:15
If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
There is nothing to fear, nothing will attack God's children but whoever attacks will be surrendering to you.
Isaiah 54:16
“See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
Certain angels of God have particular duties to destroy those who destroy God's children. These angels are called destroying angels or spoiler angels.
Isaiah 54:17
no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord.
This verse clearly says no plan against us by the evil one will be successful or fulfilled.
The source of all blessings is the servant of God, the Messiah. It is achieved only through Him and when he was crucified on the cross he gained everything for us. It is time for us all to understand this and be bold about this .
