Rebuilding Of Ancient Ruins

We are currently reading Isaiah 61.

Isaiah 61:4 says, ‘They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities 
that have been devastated for generations.’

Who do you think this promise is for? Going back to Isaiah 61:1 says, ‘The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners’.

This promise was intended for the poor. Through the Spirit of the Lord, the poor, those ailing, prisoners or those downtrodden will become creative restorers of bad and sad situations that man had to live through. These people who by the Spirit of the Lord are healed are called to rebuild the ruins. Our Father can turn things in your life that are completely hopeless, broken and ruined. This anointing is also imparted to us through Christ Jesus. 

1 John 2:27 says, ‘As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.’

Our Lord can restore the time you lost, our Lord can restore the ruins of your life that may have been devastated since generations. This anointing that the Lord has imparted on you has the ability to free you from the devastating situations of your life. 

Isaiah 54:3 says, ‘For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.’

Jerusalem was a glorious city. It was a city that was advanced, culturally rich, and centre of trade. However, Jerusalem was demolished, its people captured and temples and walls ruined. Every important person in that city was captured. For several years after that, they remained desolate. The scene is set now with Jerusalem coming back from the ashes where those anointed by the Lord will rebuild the city and will rise up the age-old foundations. 

Isaiah 58:12 says, ‘Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.’

All this indicates the wholeness that was enjoyed before and an anointing that restores one to its former glory. The names “Oaks Of righteousness “, “Repairer of Broken Walls”, “Restorer of Streets with Dwellings’ carry an anointing. 

Believe that our God will restore your generations. If the value system in your family line is broken or if your family had a downfall, believe that our God can restore. God will raise up a generation that is grounded in the word and rebuild what was once broken. I prophesy to your homes that you will be restored to the financial status that you once enjoyed. God owns the entire earth.

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

God is about to restore several things in our life. God is about to give you a spiritual renewal in your life and with this spiritual renewal comes all the blessings and restoration in your physical world as well. Our God can give you your lands, estates, houses and everything that you lost.

Hebrews 3:4 says, ‘For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.’

Psalms 127:1 says, ‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.’

Our Father is a builder and a rebuilder. Whatever is broken in your homes and your life, give it unto his hands and our God will restore everything that you lost.
