You Will Enjoy The Fruit Of Your Labour
This week we are focussing on rebuilding. Things that we consider lost or irreparable, are the very areas God will restore us. He pours out the anointing for repair, the anointing for reconstruction, the anointing for rebuilding. We are still looking at Isaiah 61. We will continue looking at vs 4.
Isaiah 61:4
They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
Rebuilding the ancient ruins
Job lost everything in his life but the Lord restored to him all that he lost with a double share. Jacob suffered a lot for a certain period of time but he had encounters with God at Bethel, Penuel and God established him.
God gives us a name, not the name that our parents or society call us by. A new name. Names like oak of righteousness, repairer of ancient ruins. When God changes our name, what we will become, our future, our ministry, the blessing that comes through us, all of this is contained in the name that God calls us.
God called Abram, Abraham, father of the nations. God called Jacob, Israel, the prince of God and he became a prince, kings came from him.
Our life will not be tough and difficult everyday. After trials and suffering there is a time of peace and a glorious future.
1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
Philippians 1:6
he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Life does not stay the same always. If there is sorrow and mourning today, God changes that to rejoicing and dancing tomorrow.
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
The eternal plans of God cannot be sabotaged.
Amos 9:14
and I will bring my people Israel back from exile. “They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.
Those who are trapped, living in slavery, they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them, they will plant vineyards and drink their wine. They will plant gardens and eat their fruit. In short, they will eat the fruit of their labour. Isn’t that wonderful news?
The ONLY hope for the spiritual world is the Gospel.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Even if we fall into the traps of the enemy and go off track, God’s anointing brings us back on track and makes our life better than before, this is the power of the Gospel.
Testimony
Jayan and Seema from Kollam have two children. One of their children had a tumour near the ear and it kept growing as the child grew. The doctors said it is harmless and the child had the tumour for ten years. In May 2023, they attended a prayer at a Blessing Centre and from that day the tumour started shrinking and within three months the tumour completely vanished, and so did their debts!
