Restoration Of Worship
God is doing creative things in your lives through these episodes as we are learning from Isaiah 61.
Isaiah 61:4
They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
The anointing to rebuild ancient ruins which was in Jesus is available to each one of us through the gospel. The gospel contains the anointing to restore the lost which we need to seek and claim in our lives.
Acts 15:16-17
“‘After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things’
David was anointed at the age of 17 and became the King at 30. He had a desire to build a grand temple for God. But God said that it would be His son, Solomon, who builds this as he had shed much blood through wars. In the waiting period, David bought the land for the temple. He began collecting the materials for it at his own expense.
David had a tent for himself in the land he bought where he would worship God; it was called David’s tabernacle. David wrote many songs for God. A major portion of Psalms contained his songs. He had a worshipping heart and he was a songwriter! His songs were sung by the people of Israel. David’s tabernacle was always filled with worship.
However, his son, Solomon, was not a worshipper like his father even though he was the one who built the temple. Jesus never said he was the son of Solomon, but He said He was the son of David! This was because David was a man after God’s own heart.
Regardless of our works, God looks at our heart and our worship.
Jesus promises to rebuild David’s tabernacle and bring back that worship so that all mankind will seek God and worship Him. This tabernacle was rebuilt in the New Testament from the time of Pentecost through Jesus where true worshippers would worship God in spirit and truth as David did. Rebuilding the tent of David means ‘rebuilding the worship’.
These are the days when worship waves as was in the time of David is going to be restored in homes and churches through the anointing of Jesus that brings rebuilding and restoration.
When the worship goes up, God’s glory comes down. We are going to experience a great revival and breakthroughs through our worship!
A true worshipper worships in Spirit and in truth. It must be Spirit led and Spirit soaked. The real worship leader is the Holy Spirit. This is the worship that pleases the Father.
