Your Prosperity Is God's Will
Jesus' life on the Earth was not ordinary. When the news of His birth spread, the Magi from the east travelled miles to see the baby and present Him with expensive gifts - myrrh, frankincense and gold.
Jesus did not grow up in a palace but led a humble life. But yes, He had everything He needed to complete His mission on this earth.
Psalms 1:1-3
‘Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.’
Joshua 1:8
‘Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.’
How many of you want to be successful in life?
Divine prosperity and success comes by:
Psalms 35:27
‘May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The Lord be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant.”’
God finds pleasure in our prosperity.
Matthew 6:33
‘But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’
Psalms 23:6
‘Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.’
David wrote Psalms 23 during the days when he took care of his father’s sheep. Just like a shepherd takes care of the sheep David proclaims that God takes care of him. He looks after all my needs.
Because you follow the Shepherd, goodness and mercy will follow you forever.
2 Chronicles 20:20
‘Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.”’
Nehemiah 2:20
‘I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.”’
3 John 1:2
‘Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.’
You will be prosperous in - spirit, material things, body and soul. In every area of your life God wants you to prosper.
