God’s Special Provision Coming For You

If we know God’s nature, how He sees us, a lot of our superstitions, misunderstandings will be wiped off, and we will be aligned to God's ways. This marks the start of deliverance. Many people are bound because of wrong teachings. Their prayers push them into poverty, lack, bondage. Wrong prayers have become the reason for some peoples’ bondages because their prayer is opposed to the Word of God.

When you pray, pray with the Word of God. Pray according to the will of God, which is reflected in the Word of God, then we see quick results.

In the book of Proverbs 30:8, we see Agur asking God for neither poverty nor riches. Things were different then and sometimes people used to pray rejecting wealth. They did this in a bid to remain humble and not grow proud and reject God. It may sound spiritual but in those days they didn’t have   means to carry money around and so he asked for the means for each day. That was his prayer, his outlook. There are people who still pray that prayer. What happens is that prayer becomes a reason for restrictions and boundaries that we put on ourselves, bringing about shortage and lack on ourselves.

All sixty six books are part of the Bible but who did what and said what matters. We need to take messages from the Bible based on the context. If you take a message from the Bible out of context, without understanding if the message is apt for our situation, then our prayer, our attitude, our faith will all stand as an obstacle for us. We must pay attention to small things too. Issues, talks that seem minor, we must pay attention to the minutest details. Several prayers or conversations that seem spiritual, words, thoughts, prayers that hurt God, we need to bring a correction to these areas. That’s where increase and enlargement comes in. Things that we do naturally, human things that require human effort, if we do this faithfully, God will do supernatural things. Our God is not natural but supernatural. Natural is inside the supernatural. The seen world exists due to the unseen world. The cause for the natural world is from the invisible, immortal, spirit world. If we are faithful in our daily tasks, God will open supernatural ways for us.

Matthew 17:24-27
After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?” “Yes, he does,” he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?” “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him. “But so that we may not cause offence, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”

Jesus knew the conversation that Peter had with the temple officials. Jesus started the conversation and asked Peter what he thought, where do kings collect taxes from. Peter replied, from others, from the people. The children are exempt from taxes.
Jesus as the Son of God didn't have to pay tax. The question was not about Roman taxes but the temple tax. Jesus is bigger than the temple. But Jesus told Peter to catch the first fish that he gets and in that he would find the amount to be paid as tax. Jesus told Peter to pay the tax so that they may not cause offence.

Jesus knew exactly that a fish was in the sea that carried the exact amount they needed for the payment of tax. And exactly that fish came onto Peter’s hook. Without letting the issue escalate, Jesus finished it off by instructing Peter to pay the tax and avoided offending the people. This was a supernatural miracle. This is the accuracy of Jesus. The same Jesus knows us and our situations and provides for us too. When we stand faithfully in what has been entrusted to us, God provides for us supernaturally.
