God Speaks Through Supernatural Manifestations

God communicates with people through different ways. The most elementary method is through people’s conscience which convicts them. God also speaks through his Word- this is the most perfect way. The Word of God is the final authority, it will never change. You can always refer to scripture to hear from God. God can also speak to people directly; through our thoughts, with an audible voice, and through visions and dreams. We also saw that God speaks through the Holy Spirit. 

The fifth way is through supernatural manifestations. This is through signs, wonders, miracles, and supernatural things. 

When Abraham took Isaac up to the mountain to sacrifice him, God stopped him and then supernaturally provided a lamb. From this, we understand Jehovah Jireh- our God provides. When God does miracles, it speaks to us of His character. 

When Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednego were thrown into the fire, God preserved them and we see that God is our protector. 

After John wrote his gospel, he ends the book by telling us that if he wrote down everything that Jesus did- there wouldn’t be enough books in the world to cover them! This was only His works in three years of ministry! We only see seven miracles listed in the book of John and all incidents are also tightly packed in sparse words. There wouldn’t be enough paper to cover everything that Jesus did! 

In John 2 we see the first miracle of Jesus where He turns water into wine. Here we learn that marriage and weddings are important to Jesus. God provides wherever there are shortages. He can turn an insufficiency into surplus! He can also increase quality and completely transform and upgrade something. He can turn your shame into glory!

We shouldn’t reduce Jesus to just someone who died on the cross for our sins- God is interested in our lives. He can and wants to and will provide and support you in your personal affairs- however trivial it may seem! In fact, He counts the hair on your head and knows when one falls! This is the extent to which He cares for you! These are all instances from the Bible, but even in your life, God can perform signs and wonders! Just invite Jesus into your life!

A sign is a sign that points to something. 
We also see in the book of John about the pool of Bethesda where people went to get healed. There, Jesus goes to one man personally and heals him immediately. This is a message to the sick- you don’t need to lay down and settle in your sick bed! God can heal! He asked this man if he had the mind to get healed- He asked this because there are many people who don’t have the mind for it! They have accepted and made their life in their sicknesses. They have become comfortable there. Do you have the mind to be healed?

From the sermon on the mount, we see Jesus multiply fish and bread! He can increase your supply and provision! There is no scientific explanation to this- God can perform miracles because He is the creator of all things. He can turn your lack into surplus! 
God can speak through His supernatural manifestations. So listen to his teachings and learn about His character through His actions.
