Live An Unshaken Life
Every day, we hear about wars, natural disasters, and calamities from around the globe, many of which affect us directly or indirectly. Living an unshaken life means putting your trust in the Lord at all times, regardless of the situation.
Psalms 125:1 ‘Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.’
An unwavering trust in the Lord will lead to an unshaken life. Hallelujah! The events unfolding in the world do not concern God. Just as Mount Zion stands tall and strong, you too can remain unshaken in the Lord, no matter what challenges arise. We should include this in our daily prayers to be strong and rooted in the Lord.
Isaiah 12:2 ‘Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense he has become my salvation.’
Proclaim this out loud: "God is my salvation. God is my strength and my defense. Amen."
Confession empowers us, making us bold. There is power in the words we speak; God has given our tongues authority.
In the book of Psalms, we often find the Israelites singing about God as their refuge, fortress, rock, shield, rampart, and ever-present help. Singing or proclaiming these truths builds faith and confidence in who God is.
When the revelation in Isaiah 12:2 hits you, then you will never be shaken. When you trust in God all the fear goes away.
1 Timothy 1:17 ‘Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.’
When the revelation in Isaiah 12:2 resonates within you, you will never be shaken. Trusting in God dispels all fear. Our God is the eternal King, crowned not by man or angels. All kingdoms of the world belong to Him, and you can always count on Him.
John 6:27 ‘Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’
Hebrews 13:6 ‘So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’
Hebrews 4:16 ‘Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need’
