Good News For All
Titus 2:13
While we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ
We have a blessed hope that Jesus is coming again to take us from this earth to the new home that He is preparing for us.
However, wherever we are, our hope should be in God whether it be heaven or earth.
Psalm 118:8-9
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.
It is when we put our hope in people instead of God that we become broken.
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all mankind: is there any thing too hard for me?
Many religions believe in the mythology of gods of rain, earth, sun, trees etc. for each purpose. They have ‘specialist gods’. For example, in order to get rain, they have to pray especially to the rain god.
But in this passage, God says that He is the Lord of all mankind, and He is able to do all things. Nothing is too hard for Him, He can meet all your needs.
Psalm 55:22 says “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”
There are billions of people, but only one God. He can give individual attention to all the billions of people on earth and each of their needs; big or small. Sometimes we forget God’s real power and might. We wonder with our limited brain how one God can take care of so many people. He is the God of generations. There is no other perfect personality like Him.
Therefore, we need not worry! Your background doesn’t matter, God’s love and salvation is available to anyone that accepts Him. He is our one stop destination for anything and everything!
Every country has its own style of rulership, culture etc but there is only one God for all. Also there is only one way of salvation also.
Acts 4.12 says “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Salvation for all people from all backgrounds and families and gender and professions is Jesus alone! If you can put your faith and hope in Christ, then that is all you need. We only need to come to His presence, call upon His name and we can rest assured that Jesus will take care of us, His children.
Jesus said in John 14.6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”.
Jesus is the only way to be saved, whoever that person may be. It doesn’t matter if that person is educated or not, sick or healthy etc, Jesus can save all.
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
Eve needed to look only towards God. But in that one moment where she looked away from Christ and looked at the serpent, it changed the course of humanity.
1 Corinthians 2:2
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
This was Paul’s attitude of life. If we live Christ centred lives, we have nothing to worry about.
There is power in the Gospel to save for those who believe in Christ.
