How To Worship God Personally

We can experience and taste God while worshipping Him. If you give importance to worship, God’s glory manifests. worship is the conduit where the glory of the Lord descends down to the earthly realm.

God created us to worship Him- this is our main purpose. Whatever else we do, if we don’t worship our creator who gave us breath, our purpose is lost and the rest is wasted. Even the animals, birds, and trees worship God. According to researchers, all plants, trees, stars, etc. create unique sounds- this could be their worship!
 
Each of us has free will- we need to choose for ourselves to worship God. In the past episodes we learned what worship is, its importance, how to worship in spirit, and how Jesus changed the style of worship in the New Testament. 

Practical ways to worship God:
  1. We can sing songs and hymns to God- the first thought about worship is music. (Ephesians 5:19- speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord)

  2. We can worship with spiritual music (1 Corinthians 14:15- So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.)

  3. We can shout praises to God (Psalm 71:23- My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.) Heaven is a loud place- the creatures worship loudly in thunderous voices constantly. We can do our rehearsals and training for this already!

  4. We can worship God in silence and deep meditation (Isaiah 30:15- This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength)

We can worship loudly and in silence and reverence. It is good to practice it all. It’s important to not be resistant to any form of worship.
  1. We can fall prostrate and worship God. We see this in the life of Job and even in the book of revelation. 
  2. We can worship God with instruments. (Psalm 33:2- Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.)
We should worship God in full sincerity.
