No Works Of The Devil Shall Destroy Me
No Works Of The Devil Shall Destroy Me
This week we are learning about the declarations of a child of God. More specifically, what should come out of the mouths of children of God.
What should the children of God be declaring?
Some declaration samples given are as follows;
1 John 3:8 says, The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
There are many reasons why the Son of God appeared on earth. One of the main reasons was to destroy the works of the devil. He wanted to remove the hands of the devil from our lives. With Jesus in our lives, there is no room for the devil to enter.
God has given us the authority to cast out evil spirits! Many people fear witchcraft, occultic practices, sorcery and so on. There are also those who fear the works of the devil. A lot of people live in fear that someone is plotting against them or has planted evil things in their homes. However we need to remember that it does not matter if anyone is working against us, we keep moving forward because God has given us the authority!
Luke 10:18-20 says (18) He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. (19) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (20) However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Romans 8:17 says Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
John 10:10 says The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
God works in mysterious and miraculous ways!
A very common mistake that people make when they fear the works of the devil in their lives, they resort to resolving the issues by going to other evil methods. What people fail to realise is that all evil spirits are connected to each other! The only power above their unity is the power of God.
Fear not, for Jesus appeared to restore peace and cast out the evil spirits from our lives!

- No weapon shall prevail against me!
- No tongue shall cause any damage to me! (Psalm 107:3)
- No works of the devil shall destroy me!
