You Are Not Alone Part 12
We all should be taking steps to eliminate the feeling of the orphan spirit in us. The very thought that you are not alone and you have that total assurance that you always have Jesus and his angels with you. In order to completely eradicate the orphan mentality here are few points to consider and should be put into practice.
Darkness is not a cover or a hiding place from God. He is universal and present everywhere. When we develop this awareness the orphan spirit in us will flee away.
In cases of rejection, betrayal, be aware you are not alone. God revealed himself to John the apostle while he was alone in Patmos. We should all build this awareness through the Word of God. God is everywhere and this is a fact. He is omnipresent and whether you feel his presence or not he is always present. In some anointed worship sessions the presence of God can be strongly felt but in some we may not but that never means God is not present.
John 14:18
I will not leave you as orphans;I will come to you
The origin of the presence of God is when he breathed through the nostrils of Adam. The first face Adam saw was that of God's. The very first touch Adam had was God's . His awareness of having someone Adam received from God. God was his first friend, Adam had first fellowship with God. The very awareness that God is present is termed as God's Consciousness.
Before sin Adam had a transparent relationship with God but falling in sin he lost it but Jesus sacrificed his life and restored this bond for us.
1 John 1:3
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:31-35
What, then, shall we say in response to these things?If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns?No one. Christ Jesus who died more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God( and is also interceding for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?(Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
2.Allow the Holy Spirit to reside in us.
John 14:16-18
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth.The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans;I will come to you
During the initial stages of being born again and when we receive the Holy Spirit we are more vibrant but later on we tend to ignore and grieve the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13:11
1 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
When we go in strong prayer we get in deep partnership with the Holy Spirit and we will never neglect him but always respect and honor the Holy Spirit. When this happens we will never have the orphan spirit
3.Have a deep understanding of the love of the Father.
When we develop the deep knowledge of God one should build it through the Word of God to be fully aware of the magnificent love of God. The love of the Father is always doubted and questioned by humans. The devil takes advantage of this and makes us feel that all pain and suffering in our lives is due to God not loving us which is ultimate foolishness. God is never ever cruel.
1 John 3:1
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him
God restored our relationship with him. We are all sinners by nature and enemies to him but God made us his children through Jesus.
Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us
The Holy Spirit spreads God's love into our heart .
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.Against such things there is no law
Mathew 10:29-31
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows
This just shows that we human beings are very special. So never feel loneliness for God loves us all.
