Let the Spirit do it!

There is only one way that can lead us to God and it’s not a geographical route, it’s not an ideology, it’s not philosophy, but a person - Jesus is the Way!
John 14. 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Typically, a way is a geographical route, but a person becomes the way when that person carries us through the way. Jesus is the One who carries us through the paths of righteousness and that’s why He's called the Way!
When we find this Way and remain steadfast in Him, our journey of life becomes peaceful, because the One who is the Way will lead us through the straight path and ensure that we make it to our final destination - God Himself.
When you repent and be baptised in the Name of God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; you receive two gifts: forgiveness of all your countless sins and also the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit whom we receive functions in two expressions : inner strength/ inner anointing which is for our personal lives and outer strength/ outer anointing which is for a powerful ministry and to become His witnesses. We need both.
The dynamic entry of the Holy Spirit is narrated in Acts 2:1-4 and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them and when others came there hearing the loud sound; they got to hear the 120 ordinary people declaring the wonders of God in their own tongues. Some, however, made fun of them considering them to be drunk.
That's when Peter stood up and addressed the crowd saying that this was spoken by the prophet Joel about God pouring out His Spirit on all people, sons and daughters prophesying, young men seeing visions and old men dreaming dreams. However, on the Day of Pentecost neither of these happened but Peter says what they just witnessed was what was spoken by Joel. So how would that prophecy be fulfilled?
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is diverse and on the day of Pentecost only some of the manifestations took place - speaking in tongues. We read in Acts 21:9 of Philip’s four unmarried daughters who prophesied. So that's just one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
Human agendas get upset when the Holy Spirit is in the room! When there comes a disorder to the order that we set for a meeting/ fellowship, it proves that the Holy Spirit is physically on the move in that gathering.
We need the Holy Spirit in order to overcome our flesh. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
In the Old Testament, man did everything whereas in the New Testament, God is doing everything for us. The Old Testament gives a huge list of dos and don’ts whereas the New Testament gives us a long list of what’s been done, what is finished/over. A great banquet is prepared for you and you just need to feast on it; instead if you still go to prepare your own meal in order to fill your stomach, that's when you depend on the work of the flesh to make things better in your life instead of being led by the Spirit, and you'll surely fail in your flesh.
In the New Testament, Jesus did it all for us on the Cross which we term as “the finished work of Jesus”. God doing everything for us doesn’t mean a state of passivity/ laziness/ inactivity; but accepting what the Lord Jesus has already done and then yielding/submitting/surrendering to the Holy Spirit and allowing the Holy Spirit to do everything in and through us.
Crushing the flesh is the victory of the spirit. We should come to a point where we admit that we are utterly helpless in doing the will of God and invite the Holy Spirit to do everything in us and through us.
