The Old Creation cannot enter the Kingdom Of God

Genesis 1.3-4 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
 
This is the beginning of creation. God created the world through words. He spoke into the darkness. The scriptures give a very brief and simple description of creation. God created and appreciates it by saying “It is good ''. After God created light from darkness, God Himself separated light from darkness right from the beginning of creation. We see this separation not only in the physical but also in the spiritual all through the Bible from Genesis chapter 1 to Revelation chapter 22.
 
The world has two kinds of children; those of the light and those of the darkness. God has separated them.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
 
When light advances, darkness retreats. They cannot co-exist. That is why Peter sys in his first speech in Acts 2.40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”

2 Corinthians 6.14,15 “what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

In John 8.12, Jesus said “I am the light of the world” and in Matthew 5.14 , He said: “You are the light of the world.”
As Psalm 104.2 declares: “The LORD wraps himself in light as with a garment;”
 
God’s children are children of the light. Spiritual darkness comes from Satan. The two are two creations. The old and new cannot co-exist. They will clash. Salvation is separating from the dark, crooked generation. God’s children coming out from the Kingdom of darkness by separating themselves from the children of darkness is salvation. It is a transfer from a worldly system (cosmos) to God’s system. There is a change of citizenship from Satan’s kingdom to God’s kingdom.
 
The first creation is seen in Genesis 2.7 Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
The second creation is seen in John 20.22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

The disciples became a ‘new creation’ ( 2 Corinthians 5.17) as Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit into them. The old creation are those who are Adam’s descendants and who continue in that sin. They continue to live on earth. But when such a person believes in Jesus and accepts Him as Saviour and becomes born again in their spirit, they become new creations in their spirit and not in their body.
 
2 Corinthians 15. 50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
No old creation can get into a new creation world. Although Jesus was born as Adam’s descendant, through his death he cut Himself off from the Old creation and resurrected to a new life. His physical body became a glorious body at resurrection. Through Jesus’ crucifixion, the old creation was crucified and a new creation came out through His resurrection.  
 
Jesus’ disciples became new creations only after Jesus became one after His resurrection. The old creation has no entry into the New creation Kingdom of God.
 
Galatians 6.14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
 
Paul boasted only of the cross of Jesus. The old sinful nature of Paul was crucified on the cross of Jesus. No one can crucify himself. Jesus did not crucify Himself. The Roman soldiers crucified Him on the cross. We too were crucified with Him. On the Cross, the Old Creation ended. Jesus crucified the fallen nature of man on the cross and through the cross, we are disconnected from the world and have come out as a “New Creation” in the spiritual world.
 
John 3.3-8 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
 
This is the process of new creation. Just as we do not understand the movement of the wind, we cannot understand the process. The Old and the New are separated eternally.
