Come Out Of The Control The Evil One

God does not control everything in the world. When we receive Christ as our saviour, then he has the authority over our life.
But the decision is ours. Do we want God or Satan to have control over us?
This is clearly seen back in the garden of Eden. God gave Adam and Eve their freedom. But it was Eve’s decision to allow the serpent to control her thoughts.
Philippians 3:21 ‘who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.’
We can be under the following controls
1. Under God’s control
2. Devil’s control
Job 1:6 onwards.
We find God having a conversation with Satan. God is very proud of his son Job and his family is flourishing. God has put a hedge around Job and everything that he owns. Satan challenges God and tells him to remove the hedge from Job. God allows Satan to take control over Job’s family and livestock but not on Job.
A series of tragedies and destruction follows in the life of Job. But one thing never changed!
Job 1:20 ‘ At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship’.
Even when everything went haywire, Job never stopped worshipping his Maker.
Now many might ask, why did God allow Satan to control Job’s life?
Job 3:25 ‘What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.’
Job used to always fear everything.
Fear is a snare. It is through this loophole, Satan was able to enter.
It is our duty to get out of the control of Satan. This should be your decision today!

- When you don’t resist the devil, when you don’t say NO to him. Lying, cheating etc. also brings you under his control.
- Doing evil works directly or indirectly, knowingly or unknowingly.
