If I Sin After Salvation What Will Happen To Me?
Many still have a doubt that if they sin after being saved, what may happen? If we believe salvation will be lost permanently if we sinned then we would have lost salvation long ago .
This is not true even if an individual sins after being saved we never lose the salvation nothing changes with God's grace .In other words the grace of God never decreases if an individual sins and this is not a right for anyone to continue sinning especially the born again people should never make it habitual to sin again and again thinking that grace of God doesn't change.
We should never deceive God. If we sin nothing affects God as he has already dealt with it through the death of Jesus on the cross of calvary.He gave us eternal life and all of the sustaining grace. It is totally up to an individual to utilize it to the fullest. This will enable us to overcome all sins as when the finished work of Jesus is there we should never have an excuse to accept the amazing grace of God to grow in Christ.
Hebrews 3:13
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness
This verse clearly conveys one strong message to always But encourage one another daily.This can be achieved through fellowship in church congregations like blessing today is a fellowship with several blessing groups and prayer groups which help every to have this sense of growth like a family. Family growth has many more benefits than when you feel orphaned.The family is a university of cultural center,language center,learning center, a practical environment to learn ,it is all in all of a society. In God's family believers come together and. encourage each other to grow by group fellowship of songs and praise, , sermon etc
Mind gets hardened or weak if it does not receive encouragement . We may fall into sins if we like that enthusiasm which we have once got by Holy baptism in Christ.
Keep our body pure to add the newness of life and live in that. If someone commits sin, Satan finds a foot stool in his or her life. This gives the devil a legal right in our life. Many warning scripture are present throughout the Bible which gives us no right to misuse or abuse God's amazing grace.
Hebrews 10:26-27
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth,no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
This is an example of what may happen if we continue to sin after being saved there will be a fearful expectation of God's wrath which is not now active but is surely reserved for the end of times which is written in the book of revelation.
God never sends any of us to hell but we ourselves are walking towards it.
Accept Jesus and never perish.God once given is given he never takes back but it is left to each of us to decide whether to accept him.
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,”and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,you will be saved.
According to this we are saved.If we choose not to do this we will not be saved.God will not put any punishment on anyone. Jesus says " follow me' to all his disciplines and they accepted it but they could have denied it also .
Never go on sinning intentionally.
Hebrews 12 :14-17
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done
Live in peace with all in Holy manner, only then can we see God. Always see to it to never fall short of God's grace.
1 Corinthians 10:11
These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us,on whom the culmination of the ages has come
