You Are Not Alone - Part 15

You are not alone. A minimum of five people are with you always. Though we cannot see them with our physical eyes, the Word assures us.

Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
In normal cases, a mother’s love for her child is inexpressible. However, as these children grow up and hurt their mothers by words/ deeds, they might despise them. Some women indulge in extra marital affairs and abandon their husband and child/children. God says, ‘Though a mother would forget the child of her womb, I will not forget you.’

Isaiah 49:16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
This is God’s original promise to Israel. Just as marble/granite is carved using a chisel, God has engraved us on the palm of His hands. 

Jesus’ resurrected body has nail prints which symbolizes God’s love for us.
Jesus said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.’ (John 20:27). His nail- pierced hands are the carved image of His love towards us, so that we may believe that He will never forget nor leave nor forsake us.

We all would have instances in life where we jotted down a phone number or items to purchase etc on our palms so that we don’t forget it by the time we have to make a call to that number or get to the shop in order to buy those items. Similarly, God gives us this imagery through His Word for us to comprehend. In order to engrave something on the palm, one has to take out flesh for the image to be revealed and today Jesus’ hands are in such a state. Such deep is God’s love for us. 
There is an invisible divine soul tie between a mother and her child, so is it between a father and a child, between a husband and wife or between immediate family members. 

God saw that it isn’t good for man to be alone, and to avoid that loneliness He created Eve for Adam. Later they had children and it developed into clans, communities etc. Family is the first institution that God established through the covenant of marriage.
Even though God who is invisible is always with us, we’re all interdependent and we need one another in every phase of life. We see the words “one another” many times in the Bible.

Genesis 12:1-3 Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.

Though God called Abraham in person, He intended to bring forth a  great nation through Him. In the same way, God has positioned you to bring forth many others like you, it could be biologically or spiritually or through discipleship.
A person is known by the company he/she keeps and the books he/she reads. Never turn away from divine connections/ godly relationships and friendships that God has gifted in your life, as God desires to bring forth valuable treasures on the Earth through such relationships. Everything in your life is for a purpose; hold onto God and He will direct your life into His perfect will.
