Do You Want Blessing Or Miracle?

In this Blessing series, the question of which is greater- blessing or miracle - kick starts as food for thought for all believers. Do we need supernatural divine healing or do we just need to stay healthy in order to not fall sick? Or in the case of financial issues, do we need a miraculous experience or simply lead a life in financial freedom with no financial difficulties?
 
To simply put it, we all prefer to stay healthy and financial freedom would be the easiest solution to our problems.
 
What is a miracle?
A miracle is something that saves us from a big problem. In the case of miracles, the healing occurs in the life of someone who is severely sick. Once the person believes, they receive the miraculous healing in their lives. However, a healthy person will not receive a miracle because their health is a blessing in itself.
 
In conclusion, blessings are greater than miracles and this is a point that most of us as believers do not know. 
 
Joshua 5:10-12
10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover. 11 The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. 12 The manna stopped the day after[a] they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate the produce of Canaan.
 
We read here how the manna that was provided for 40 years was a miracle but then it stopped once they reached the land of Canaan. What we can understand from this passage is that when the blessing came, the miracle stopped. Always keep in mind that blessings are greater than miracles. And the 40 year journey had millions of uncounted miracles. 
 
In heaven, there are no miracles. Miracles can only be witnessed on earth. This means that before man had sinned there was no need for miracles but it was only after the fall of man that miracles happened. 
 
What is a blessing? 

1. Blessing always comes from a greater person to a lesser person
2. Blessing is not just a condition or a situation, it is an invisible spiritual power. When this blessing comes through that makes you an instrument of God’s favour.
3. The specialty of blessing is that it will prevent misfortunes
4. Blessing is a trouble convertor

 
Genesis 1:28
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
 
Numbers 23:20 
I have received a command to bless;
    he has blessed, and I cannot change it.
 
A miracle happens only when a problem occurs and this is when something bypasses the law of nature that has been set by God. Miracles are temporary solutions to human problems whereas blessings are a permanent solution.
