Manage What You Have Faithfully
Many people wonder why their troubles never end. Day and night they pray and still nothing good happens in their life and instead they see the people of this world flourishing.
Let’s look at the principles from John 6.
Many of us give faithfully to the church, help the needy but in spite of doing all these, they don’t have a financial breakthrough. Why is that?
When you receive your paycheck, how do you manage the balance amount after giving God’s portion? Do you manage what you have faithfully?
If you are not able to or do not manage your finances well, it can hinder God’s blessing.
Financial or resource mismanagement is a serious issue.
John 6:12 ‘’When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”
From the verse above we find God commanding his disciples to collect all the pieces that are left over. Nothing, not even small bits should be wasted.
This is a great principle! Do not waste anything.
The creator of this earth is telling us not to waste anything. Do not waste food. This is the command of our Lord Jesus.
I’ve heard in many restaurants food wastage is a punishable offence.
The important lesson we can learn from this is that whatever the Lord gives us, make sure to manage it well.

Luke 16:10 ‘“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.’
When an individual is hired, the superiors assess if the employee does the work that is assigned to him well before giving him bigger projects.
A person who is faithful in handling money matters is said to be faithful in everything else also. And the person who is not faithful with money is not faithful in anything else.
Luke 12:42-46 ‘The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.’
For everything that God has assigned to us, there comes a day when he will settle the accounts with us. Are you ready for that?
