The Acts of Flesh
The Truth will set us free!
When we look at a lot of things in the Bible and get revelation it will set us free. For us believers the Holy Spirit will set us free.
When people do not have a direction they live in darkness.
Jesus is the light, he can light our worlds.
He will show us the right way to walk on.
Today we will focus on the acts of the flesh.
We humans have sin nature, Sin is in our nature. There are certain fleshly things that become a driving force for us humans.
When we are saved we throw away the sin nature but it still remains inside of us.
The ones who are saved do not live in the flesh.
For the ones who are saved the flesh tends to war against Christ.
There is no improvement possible in the flesh. This is not how God created us. Our bodies became mortal with sin.
The flesh is a built in law of failure, making it impossible for a natural man to please it serve God.
It expresses itself against God and his righteousness.
The only hope to escape from the world of the flesh is replacing it with the Holy Spirit. It is not possible for a believer to have both flesh and Holy Spirit inside of us.
That is not how God created the human body to be, its a mixture of God's creation and sin.
Sin is the life of satan. God created a man's body to be a pure vessel.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
There is no grey area, once you’re in Christ you must stay away from all the sins that are mentioned here.
As believers we must be strong and stay away from the acts of the flesh and remain one with Christ.
