Blind Faith

Our focus for this week is “How to approach God”. Many of us don’t know how to approach God these days. There are other people blocking you from approaching God. The devil tries the hardest to create blocks in  our lives so we don’t grow closer to God because we are saved in the presence of God. Even the great apostle Peter mentions in Thessalonians that Satan will put blocks and hindrances in your life. The decision we make to follow God must be strong and firm, and we should be able to withstand all the hindrances that life will bring our way.

The hardest substance in the world is diamond. And on the human body, it is said that teeth are the strongest, even stronger than muscles. Even years after the body decomposes, the teeth remain. So, we should have a faith as strong and hard as a diamond and long-lasting as our teeth.
 
Reading John 4:46-54 we see a royal official approaching Jesus. Notice the manner in which he approached Jesus. His son was about to die, and he approached Jesus in need of healing for his son. Where there is a miracle, people gather!

Miracles are of two types:
  1. Miracles from God
  2. Counterfeit miracles from Satan

Jesus just asked this royal man to return   home for Jesus declared that his son will live. Following Jesus’ words, the act of blind faith by the man is something we all ought to learn from. We don’t see Jesus praying an elaborate prayer yet, this man believed and went back home. And it is once he went back the next day, his servants came running to him to inform him that his son was healed at the same time Jesus declared the words that his son will live!
 
COME TO JESUS WITH BLIND FAITH!

This blind faith will bring in all the miracles and blessings into your life! Blind faith should not be mistaken for superstition.
