You Are The Prophet Of Your Life

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
This is God’s instruction to us as well : Meditate the Word, Speak the Word, Do the Word. And if we do so, we’ll prosper and succeed in life. 
If we look at Joshua’s life, he obeyed God’s instruction and became a successful man, a successful leader, a successful minister and a successful servant of God. As we meditate the Word, we can progress to its full potential. Joshua meditated the Word day and night; and he won many battles and had the nation of Israel settle in the land of Canaan.  

1 Timothy 4:12-15 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
If you want to see progress in life, get into the habit of meditation. Hold on to the promises and prophecies of God over our life. If your life is not progressing, check your meditation. 

Genesis 24:63 He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. 

Isaac chose evening time to meditate because he was an evening person. Some like to wake up early in the morning and spend time with God. For some, that may be difficult because their body isn’t wired in that manner, and they’d prefer to sit with God and His Word in the evenings or nights. Adam and Eve used to go for evening walks with God while in the garden of Eden. Irrespective of what time of the day it is, make it a point to have a sweet fellowship with the lover of your soul, Lord Jesus. You can choose your own comfortable time, but if you’re in the habit of meditating, your blessing will come on the camel's back. If you have a good prayer life, you need to go in search of your life partner. Instead God will bring them to you, just as it happened in Isaac’s life and even in my personal life. 
Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Genesis 26:12-14 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.
Isaac prospered even in the time of famine; and he prospered because he was seeing prosperity in his meditation. Let’s become the prophets of our own life.
