Vision Of God

We need to have a vision in order to advance in life. Be it even for cars, the windshield is made of glass in order to have a clear vision of what’s ahead. Your vision determines your destination. It is significant that you receive a spiritual vision and the direction from God in order to arrive at the destination God has kept for you. Your vision determines your destination.
Our life on this earth will end one day but we need to move with a vision to reach what God has created us for.

Vision → Direction → Destination!

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 9:25 He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
In John 8, He said He is the light of the world and in John 9 we read of a blind man receiving his sight. Jesus’ ‘I am" statement was followed by a demonstration. Jesus didn’t just say that He is the Bread of Life, but also multiplied bread and demonstrated it to the crowd. 
The blind man who had received his vision was questioned by many of the same and a debate was going on about Jesus healing him on a Sabbath; but for him everything else was unimportant  and irrelevant to him. Jesus gave him vision and that changed his life! It was amazing. Once he was blind and now he could see. Until then he lived his life depending on others, but now he was free to go about all by himself only because Jesus gave him vision. This applies to us spiritually also. Our life changes drastically and becomes more colourful when Jesus gives us spiritual vision.

The revelation of God and your relationship with Him as you meditate and hear the Word of God will give you a spiritual vision and that'll make your life colourful. 

1. Have a vision of God
Ezekiel 1:1 In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
Each person should have a true vision/ revelation of God. We may have often seen paintings of Jesus wearing a white robe and a red shawl, praying to the Father and the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus as a dove; but in reality God lives in unapproachable light and His glory can never be depicted. 

Ezekiel 1:4-6 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The centre of the fire looked like glowing metal, and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human, but each of them had four faces and four wings.

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
These prophets had a vision of God. We need to have the vision of God - the revelation of God, His glory and greatness! 
This was Apostle Paul’s greatest desire to know God and he pens it down in Philippians 3.10-12 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
