The Mighty Helper Is With Us

God didn't create us as independent beings, but as interdependent beings. We are all social beings and we need many people's help while here on Earth. God did not create Adam as a baby, but a man and said it was not good for him to be alone; and therefore, He created Eve, a suitable helper for Adam from his own ribs. Although Adam had God with him and strength to do things on his own, he still needed human help.

Acts 17:26
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.

There are two levels in which we all need help

1. Help From Man: We need support and help from other men and women around us. 

For example, there are a lot of skilled tailors, but they need some customers who will give them work and money. These customers in turn need good tailors to get their clothes stitched. Similarly, teachers need students to impart knowledge and students need teachers to gain knowledge. The same is the case between landlords and tenants, employers and employees, guides and tourists, etc. When people are distressed, they’d be reinvigorated through another person’s encouragement/ comforting words. We all need an upliftment/ encouragement from either our friends/ spouse/ parents/ colleagues/ believers, etc.
 

2. Help From God: We need support from someone greater than man. God is our supreme helper. No one can help us the way He can. Many times, God coordinates with some people in order to help us - emotional support/ financial support/healings/ deliverance, etc. 

Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
