Possession of Heavenly Blessings
Our Christ is El Elyon meaning God Most High. The greatest blessing comes from the highest.
We saw the blessings that Abraham received from God. Heavenly blessings, material blessings and victory in battle.
Galatians 3:16 ‘The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.’
The day we accepted Christ as our saviour, we have received the same blessings of Abraham. We are entitled to these promises.
From God The Most High the blessings we receive are -
‘Like the dust of the earth’ are the children of Abraham through Ishmael. ‘Like the sand on the seashore’ represents Abraham’s descendants through Issac. And the ‘stars in the sky’ are the descendants of Christ, through Abraham and David. This includes all of us believers.
The New Testament believers are Abraham’s children who are as the stars in the sky. We are the children of El Elyon. Hallelujah!
Ephesians 1:3 ‘ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.’
Colossians 3:1-10
Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9 Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.’
Set your minds on things above and you will be able to live a stress free life.

- Elevation of generations - God will raise up our generations. All parents desire their children to be blessed in all areas. God promised Abraham the same for his generations.
