Deep Healing - Introduction
Healing of the soul is referred to as ‘Inner Healing’/ ‘Deep Healing’ etc. We become aware that we need healing in our souls only after we receive Jesus as our Saviour. This comes in the form of inner torment, struggles etc. Physical illnesses also come due to inner hurts and wounds. Science has proved that 85% of physical sickness are due to psychosomatic disorder. Only 15% are purely physical.
When we are saved, many problems that were hidden manifest. When Jesus walked into a synagogue, the demons in a man manifested. Till Jesus came, the man had no issues.
A person who has inner healing issues can only be healed by Jesus. In the inner healing ministry, we see Jesus like the “Good Samaritan” in the parable healing his people where no one is willing to do so and also giving an abundant life. Sickness of mind cannot be healed through medication though they take lifelong medicines.
Inner healing is a process. When we receive Jesus as our Saviour, our spirit is saved and we become a new creation (1 Corinthians 5.17). Our body and soul (mind, will, emotions) does not change. The area that needs great focus is the renewal of our souls
