The Principle of Diversification

Ecclesiastes 11:1
Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return.
Maritime commerce, import and export is an investment. When God gives you something, invest it and you will receive several fold. That's how you increase it. This is how you live with wisdom and knowledge.
The Principle of Investment
What happens in this world is not predictable. Often leaders work in an evil way, and so we need to do things wisely.
Matthew 25:24
“Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
The man who received one talent did not invest it. He hid it away. That man was called an evil servant. If we don't multiply what God gives us, it is evil, it is laziness.
When we invest, we should examine our motives. What is our motive? Is it out of greed or pride? If so it will be reduced to nothing.
1 Timothy 6:6-9
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Apostle Paul says he has learned to live in great riches and poverty, he can live with what he has with contentment. Do not grumble and complain in your lack but believe that God will change that situation.
1 Timothy 6:17
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
Those who do have money, never be proud, things can change in a day. Always rely on the Lord, He is able to give us abundantly. God entrusts us with His wealth as stewards. So whatever comes into our hands, we must use with wisdom and in a way that it will be useful and a blessing to many. Only then can we grow.
Proverbs 13:20
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.
Proverbs 15:22
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
Proverbs 14:15
The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.
Ecclesiastes 11:2
Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.
This speaks of the principle of diversification. Don't invest all your money into one thing.
Invest it in several places. When you receive your share, invest it in several places. Seven or eight, as king Solomon says. Even if some investments fail, others will succeed. The wisest man says never invest all your money in one place. This is called the principle of diversification. As the English saying goes, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify your investments. Solomon says you never know what will happen tomorrow. If one fails, another will succeed.
Eaters will finish everything. Sowers will keep a portion aside and give to the Lord. Whatever you give to the Lord, He gives back a hundred fold. Save some, spend some, give some. We must learn to do all these. Not everything happens by prayer. Be wise. God has given us a mind to think and act in wisdom.
